89-foot T.O.F.C., Providence & Worcester
(PW 105063).
I assembled an undecorated Micro-Trains TOFC, with the exception of the trailer hitches and
underframe, and secured all parts with cement. I airbrushed the body in Accu-Paint
Vermillion Red. Limited run decals from Herald King were applied, and the car was
airbrushed with a clear coat finish and assembled. The hitches were hand painted in
rust and added to the deck. Additional weathering was
applied via a series of dirt and grime washes airbrushed onto the model. The
Erie Lackawanna trailer is a kitbashed Micro-Trains model.
The TOFC model was ready for service in late 1991.
