40-foot boxcar w/sliding doors, New Haven (NH 31806).  This Micro-Trains car was painted in light boxcar red mixed from Accu-Paint colors, and decorated with Clover House dry transfers.  The weathered script herald was created by burnishing only portions of the dry transfer.  The car was sprayed with a flat clear coat, and heavily weathered with pastels.  The standard wheelsets were replaced with Micro-Trains low-flange wheelsets and the couplers were body-mounted.  This car was rolling in 1983.
