CNJ 2054

P-S 34-foot cement hopper, Central R.R. of New Jersey (CNJ 2054).  This started out as an unpainted brass import from Pecos River Brass.  The body was airbrushed in a light gray mixed from Accu-Paint, and the trucks were airbrushed in Stencil Black.  CDS Dry Transfers were used to decorate the car.  The model was sprayed with a clear overcoat, then weathered with wet pastel chalks to simulate cement spillage, dirt and rust.  Micro-Trains couplers were mounted to each end.  The car was ready for service in 1989.  The original brass trucks were later replaced with Micro-Trains Bettendorf trucks with low-flange wheelsets, but the trucks have yet to be weathered.
