Mercedes 380 SEL.  I actually cheated with this one, and started with the all-white car with Hot Hubs wheels.  The car was separated, the old wheels removed, and the body and chassis were sprayed Testors Gloss Pearl Clearcoat, followed with High Gloss Clearcoat.  The clear glass was replaced with the dark smoked glass from the Cal-Customs version.  The "Cal Custom" lettering on the windshield was removed with Polly-S Decal Remover, and the windshield was then polished with toothpaste.  Playing Mantis Johnny Lightning chrome Cragar wheels with black tires were utilized.  The wheel inserts were disassembled for the rims to be painted Gloss White.  The parking lights and taillights were painted Turn-Signal Amber Metallic and Stop-Light Red Metallic over chrome silver respectively.  Malaysia casting, original issue.
