Old Number 5.  The car was disassembled, and the hood tampo was scanned as a basis for new decals.  The body and chassis were stripped, and buffed with steel wool.  Both were painted with a base coat of Silver Metallic followed by two coats of Testors Transparent Candy Apple Red.  Large chrome Pro Circuit wheel hubs were painted with Tamiya acrylic paint - clear red on the spokes and clear yellow on the rims.  New black and metallic gold decals were created based on the original tampo artwork and applied to the hood.  The body and chassis were sprayed with two coats of High Gloss Clearcoat to seal the paint and decals.  Hong Kong casting.
